Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Community Care and Counseling specializing in Traumatology. I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate trauma, emotional challenges, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. Additionally, I am a certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider (CSOTP) with experience supporting diverse populations through evidence-based and compassionate care.

I strive to create a safe, supportive, and collaborative therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. My approach to therapy focuses on healing, resilience, self-awareness, and meaningful personal growth. I believe therapy should enhance your quality of life by helping you build healthier coping strategies, strengthen emotional well-being, and create lasting positive change.

My approach to therapy

My greatest strengths as a provider are my ability to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable opening up and sharing their experiences. I am compassionate, empathetic, and skilled at building rapport, which helps establish trust early on. Additionally, my expertise in trauma-informed care and evidence-based approaches allows me to tailor strategies that best meet each client’s unique needs. I am dedicated to empowering clients, helping them develop coping skills, and guiding them through the healing process with patience and understanding.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a warm and welcoming environment where we’ll discuss your reasons for seeking therapy. I will ask about your background, current challenges, and goals for therapy, so I can better understand your unique needs. Together, we will explore the best ways to move forward and develop a plan tailored to help you heal, grow, and achieve your goals. The session will be focused on building rapport, ensuring you feel heard, and setting a foundation for our work together.
