Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Shanithia. I am a fully licensed (LPC) counselor in Georgia. I graduated from Georgia State University with a bachelor’s in Women & Gender Studies and from Medaille College with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am also an ordained Pastor and am passionate about creating a safe space for meaningful conversation around faith, womanhood, and therapy. My goal is to help you feel seen, heard, and supported as we work through what you’re navigating together.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is very person-centered. I focus on building a relationship rooted in empathy, accountability, compassion, and personal growth, creating a non-judgmental space where we can do the work together. I believe healing happens through connection, and I’m here to support you as you grow at your own pace.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on building rapport and creating goals around your current concerns. We’ll take time to understand what’s been going on for you, and together begin outlining a path forward that feels right. If it’s important to you, we can also explore how faith plays a role in your healing journey, always at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
