Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with a Master’s degree in Counseling and Development. My professional experience has centered on helping individuals navigate challenges, better understand their emotions, and find support during times of change.

I work with adolescents and adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, navigating change, struggling with anxiety or depression, processing grief, or trying to better understand themselves and their relationships. I also welcome those who may have difficulty putting their feelings into words or who feel like they have been carrying a lot on their own.

I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel heard, respected, and understood without judgment. My goal is to offer a supportive environment where you can slow down, explore what you’re experiencing, and begin finding a way forward that feels right for you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and person-centered. I believe therapy should feel like a conversation where you can show up as you are, rather than a place where you feel pressured to have everything figured out.

I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and solution-focused techniques to help clients better understand their thoughts and emotions, navigate challenges, and develop practical tools for everyday life. I adapt my approach to each person’s needs, goals, and comfort level.

I want therapy to be a space where you feel safe exploring difficult emotions, recognizing patterns, building on your strengths, and making meaningful changes at your own pace. You don’t have to have all the answers before you begin. We can work together to figure out what you need and what moving forward might look like for you.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, trusting relationship. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope might change or feel different in your life.

You don’t need to have everything organized or know exactly where to start. We can take our time, and I’ll ask questions to help us better understand your concerns, experiences, and goals. We’ll also discuss what you would like from therapy and how we can work together to support you.

My hope is that you leave our first session feeling heard, respected, and a little more comfortable taking this step for yourself. Therapy is a process, and we’ll move at a pace that feels manageable for you.
