Great to meet you!

I have been a licensed clinical social worker for about a decade. The bulk of my training came from working for the local mental health authority with clients who carried diagnoses of schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, major depressive disorder, PTSD, anxiety, and a lot of adjustment disorder. I had an in person private practice for several years, until covid hit.

My approach to therapy

I understand that we are all made differently and that our experiences, support systems and environments strongly impact our values and beliefs. I enjoy learning from my clients, as I feel that is the primary way to help guide them to the results they are looking for.

What you can expect from me

The first session consists of learning as much about the client as possible, so an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan can be implemented. I use a person-centered approach, because the clients are the experts of their experiences. Treatments are centered around the clients' goals.
