Great to meet you!

Welcome! I'm Shannan Marie Garbani, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. My approach is rooted in helping clients achieve success and discover solutions tailored to their unique life circumstances. Together, we'll collaborate to develop and apply new tools that enhance your personal growth.

In our sessions, I prioritize instilling hope and providing meaningful resolutions to help you effectively address your past, navigate your present, and confidently move forward. My goal is to foster intrinsic growth, enabling you to uncover inner purpose and meaning. This approach ensures that the progress you make is not only maintained but becomes an integral part of your ongoing journey.

I'm committed to creating a supportive environment where we can work together to collaborate and achieve lasting positive change.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is solution focused and strength based, clinically knowledgeable and diagnostically thorough. Although I may facilitate interventions and/or techniques in various therapeutic modalities, ultimately, each client's journey with me is highly individualized, as no one person is the same in their life dynamics, needs, learning process, or the emotional/cognitive lens that gives them perceptions and perspectives.

I am able to serve clients holistically, including all aspects of their well-being- emotional, mental, physical, spiritual, social, relational and societal. With unconditional positive regard, congruence and true empathy, I aim to establish a trust and safety in our therapeutic relationship that fosters transparency, encourages self-awareness and results in insights and answers for themselves that can potentially enhance, uplift and/or transform their lives. ( Informed, S.O.P. Modalities include: Behavioral, Family systems, Psychodynamic, Existential, Recovery Model, Neuroscientific- Central Nervous System and Brain Neurology
