Great to meet you!

I am excited to meet you! I am Filipino-American mental health professional with a warm, culturally sensitive, and narrative-focused approach. I strive to create a safe therapeutic space where clients feel safe and seen as they explore their identity, relationships, and inner narrative. I am the daughter of Filipino immigrants and the eldest sibling. I am a survivor of domestic violence, bullying, and religious trauma. Therapy saved my life. I want to inspire hope and provide compassion, especially at rock bottom.

I work with older and younger adults (ages 18-75) who identify as sensitive, introspective, and deeply imaginative — individuals who often feel misunderstood in traditional clinical settings. I have extensive experience providing support to survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking, and members of the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities.

My approach to therapy

Sessions are guided by you and your goals. My role is to help you feel supported and empowered with clarity and self-compassion. I utilize several evidence-based modalities to guide and strengthen skills and comprehension. Experience and empathy are vital to growth, and I actively integrate storytelling and self-disclosure throughout my work.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will be an opportunity for us to get to know one another. (As a heads up, I do ask about your favorite ice cream/soft serve/frozen yogurt flavor. Be prepared!) We'll explore your history and the reason you've chosen to begin therapy. It's normal to be nervous and a little apprehensive. We'll navigate all of it together.
