Great to meet you!

I am dedicated to helping individuals make meaningful, lasting changes by developing coping skills that fit their unique life experiences. With over 20 years of experience in addiction treatment and mental health services, I bring a grounded, compassionate, and client‐centered approach to therapy. I believe that you know yourself better than anyone else, and my role is to support you in uncovering your strengths, healing from past experiences, and building a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling.

My specialties include substance use disorders, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, and co‐occurring mental health challenges. I am committed to helping clients improve their relationships, reduce stress, and strengthen their sense of self‐worth. I focus on the whole person—mind, body, and environment—because growth in one area naturally supports growth in all others.

My approach to therapy

My approach is client‐centered, collaborative, and grounded in empathy. I work with clients by meeting them exactly where they are and tailoring treatment to their individual needs, strengths, and goals. I draw from evidence‐based practices such as cognitive‐behavioral strategies, trauma‐informed care, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness‐based techniques.

I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe, respected, and understood. I create a non‐judgmental space where you can explore your experiences openly, learn new coping skills, and build insight into patterns that may be holding you back. Together, we focus on practical tools, emotional healing, and personal empowerment so you can move toward the life you want.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a warm, supportive environment where we begin getting to know each other and explore what brings you to therapy. I typically start by learning about your current concerns, your history, and what you hope to gain from our work together. We will identify immediate priorities, discuss any symptoms or stressors you’re experiencing, and begin outlining goals that feel realistic and meaningful to you.

Clients often leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and more grounded. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, reduce any anxiety about starting therapy, and set a foundation for a collaborative and effective therapeutic relationship.
