Great to meet you!

Welcome! Whether you are beginning your therapeutic journey for the first time or returning to continue your progress, I am so glad you’re here. Starting therapy is a significant step towards self-discovery and healing, and I commend you for taking it! I have a profound commitment to assisting individuals, especially young adults, who are dealing with trauma and anxiety. These experiences can be challenging and often overwhelming, affecting various aspects of life. My specialization in trauma therapy provides you with a safe, supportive space to explore and heal from past experiences. Similarly, my experience in anxiety management can support you in understanding and overcoming the symptoms that may be impacting your daily life. I have worked in Community Mental Health for over three years where meeting with clients in some of their darkest times has influenced me to take specified approaches to therapy.

My approach to therapy

In our sessions, you will find a compassionate and non-judgmental space where your thoughts and feelings are valued. My goal is to support you as we work together to uncover insights, develop coping strategies, and empower you to live the life you desire. Therapy is a collaborative process, and your comfort and safety are my top priorities. Together, we’ll explore what’s important to you and devise a personalized approach to meet your unique needs.

What you can expect from me

I create a relaxed atmosphere with an informal, friendly communication style, allowing you to express yourself freely. I work alongside you, guiding and supporting your journey with an approach tailored to your needs, and your feedback is invaluable for productive sessions. We evaluate progress in each session, celebrating successes and addressing any challenges that arise. Goals and expectations may also evolve as you grow and learn more about yourself, and we remain open to modifying plans to better suit your journey. Goal achievement is not always a linear path; it is often accompanied by challenges and setbacks. However, these obstacles do not negate the progress being made. Progress often appears as small, incremental changes like shifts in thinking, increased self-awareness, or better emotional management, which accumulate over time into significant improvements.
