Great to meet you!

I enjoy working with a variety of clients; from young adults navigating school, career, relationships, and identity to older adults seeking to better utilize their age-earned strengths and talents. I’ve been working in mental health for almost 20 years with a focus on the LGBTQ+ population. I can help you make behavior changes and feel better through achievable goals, boundary setting, and awareness of your own thought patterns.

My approach to therapy

One of the most important predictors of positive outcomes in counseling is rapport within the client-therapist relationship. I pride myself on being approachable, non judgemental, and empathetic. I especially enjoy working with those new to counseling.

What you can expect from me

I primarily use a solution-focused CBT model because I know changing your thoughts and behaviors impacts your feelings and helps you move forward and achieve your goals. If you know some of your behaviors, choices, or relationships aren't working for you and are ready for a different perspective, some new skills and ways of thinking, you’re ready for therapy.
