Great to meet you!

If you're carrying anxiety, caregiver stress, grief, chronic illness, or a major life transition, it can be hard to know where to even start. I work with adults and older adults who are trying to feel more grounded, supported, and in control of daily life. I became a therapist because I believe the right support at the right time can change everything, and I don't take it lightly when someone trusts me with what they're going through. Outside of sessions you can find me getting lost in a good book, making pottery, or out on a walk with my husband, two dogs, and a cat. I share that because I want you to know there's a real person on the other side of this, someone who genuinely cares how you're doing and is rooting for you every step of the way.

My approach to therapy

I pull from a range of approaches including CBT, ACT, and person-centered and trauma-informed practices because I truly believe that no two people are the same and your care shouldn't be either. Whether you're managing the weight of caregiving, adjusting to a health change, processing grief, or just trying to feel like yourself again, I'd rather get to know you and tailor our work to what actually fits your life than follow a rigid formula. I'll always aim to help you understand the patterns that have been keeping you stuck, build practical skills you can use day to day, and work at a pace that feels right for you. The goal is for you to leave sessions feeling more equipped, more grounded, and more in control.

What you can expect from me

The first session is really about getting to know each other, so there's no pressure to have everything figured out before you walk in. I'll ask questions about what's been going on, what brought you to therapy, and what you're hoping life looks like on the other side of this. Most people come in feeling unsure of where to even start, and that's completely okay. My goal is simple: for you to leave that first session feeling heard, comfortable, and confident that we can work through this together. From there we'll build a plan that fits your life and your goals.
