Great to meet you!

I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 11 years of nursing experience, including 9 years specializing in psychiatry. I earned my BSN from Xavier University and my MSN from Northern Kentucky University. My clinical background includes community mental health, inpatient psychiatry, substance use treatment, and complex outpatient medication management.

I do not diagnose or treat attention disorders.

My approach to therapy

I take a thoughtful and individualized approach to care, recognizing that medication is only one part of effective mental health treatment. I work collaboratively with patients to help them better understand themselves, identify unhelpful patterns, and develop practical strategies that support lasting emotional wellbeing and personal growth.

What you can expect from me

I enter every therapeutic relationship with respect, non-judgement, and a sense of humor, which I believe are imperative to an impactful patient-provider alliance.

In our first session, I will get to know your psychiatric history as well as current symptoms and challenges. I will establish a working diagnosis for you and then we will come up with a treatment plan for you to work on before our next visit. This may include starting or adjusting medication, working on lifestyle changes, or practicing coping exercises-always with your input and feedback.
