Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical psychologist. I earned my PhD from the University of Detroit Mercy. Through my training I have worked with a wide variety of clients and a wide variety of issues bringing them to therapy. I really try to get a good understanding of the person and the goals they have in mind for themselves. I believe therapy should be collaborative. I have training to help the process, but each person is the expert on themselves.

My approach to therapy

I have training in many different modalities of therapy. I often get a feeling for the person's personality and goals in our initial session. From there I can chose the approach that may fit best for them. Often I incorporate more than one. I am very open to feedback, and want clients to talk me through how they are feeling about progress. if something is not working we can always find another approach.

What you can expect from me

I want clients to leave session feeling as if they have tools to help themselves through the week. I really want each person to gain more insight into themselves.Hopefully with time we can work together to meet the goals set at the beginning of therapy.
