Great to meet you!

If you're dealing with substance use, addiction, grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, or the kind of family stress that's hard to put into words — this is a good place to start. I work with adults, teens, and seniors across Nevada via virtual sessions, and I specialize in the situations where more than one thing is going on at once: the drinking and the grief underneath it, the family conflict rooted in cultural pressure, the anxiety that's been there so long it feels normal.

I'm a Black and Asian LCSW therapist with a background in crisis intervention and a genuine understanding of what it means to navigate identity, immigration, loss, and belonging. I work particularly well with clients from communities of color, immigrant families, and people who have tried to manage things on their own for too long. I accept Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield Nevada, and Oxford.

My approach to therapy

I believe you already have what it takes — therapy is about helping you find it and use it intentionally. I draw primarily from Strength-Based therapy, Positive Psychology, and Cognitive Behavioral Family Therapy, which means sessions are collaborative and forward-moving, not a place to just vent without direction (unless that's genuinely what's needed that day).

I'm direct, curious, and I'll be honest with you when honesty is more useful than comfort. I also know when to bring some levity — real conversations sometimes need a laugh. We'll work at your pace, but we will work.

What you can expect from me

Expect a real conversation, not a form filling exercise. I'll ask about what brought you in, what's been happening in your life, and — most importantly — what you actually want to be different. We'll talk about what therapy can realistically look like and you'll leave the first session with a clear sense of whether working together feels right.

There's no pressure and no script. First sessions are about connection and clarity, and by the end you should feel like someone actually heard you.
