Great to meet you!

Mental health is rarely just one thing. What you're experiencing can be influenced by stress, relationships, life experiences, and the demands of everyday life. I help adults navigating a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and PMDD. I'm a dual board-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a strong interest in understanding the many factors that contribute to mental health. I value getting to know my clients beyond their diagnosis and creating an inclusive, welcoming environment where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable being yourself.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is individualized, evidence-based, and integrative. I aim to create a supportive, open-minded, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences and concerns. I take a collaborative approach, recognizing that your experiences, preferences, and goals are an important part of your care.

I combine psychiatric medication management with supportive counseling, psychoeducation, and cognitive behavioral (CBT)-informed and solution-focused strategies when appropriate. During our appointments, this may involve exploring patterns in your thoughts and behaviors, identifying practical ways to manage symptoms, building healthy coping skills, and setting realistic goals. I also provide education about mental health conditions and treatment options so you can make informed decisions about your care.

I believe treatment should be flexible rather than one-size-fits-all. We'll regularly discuss what's working, address concerns, and make adjustments together to ensure your care continues to align with your needs, goals, and comfort level.

What you can expect from me

All appointments are held virtually, allowing you to receive care from the comfort of your own space. During our first session, we'll review your mental health and medical history, discuss what you're currently struggling with, and explore how these concerns are affecting your daily life. I'll also take time to understand your goals, values, and preferences for treatment. From there, we'll review your options and work together to develop a plan that fits your needs and comfort level. You don't need to have everything figured out before your appointment, and there's no pressure to start medication during your first visit if you're not ready. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, informed, and comfortable with the next steps in your care.
