Great to meet you!

Licensed in DC and VA, I have been practicing and providing therapeutic services to children, adolescents, adults and families for over 10 years. I have worked in community settings, crisis, county government, public and private schools providing mental health and therapeutic services. With an MSW from Smith College School for Social Work and a BSW from North Carolina Central University, I have cultivated a career rooted in advocacy, culturally responsive care, and trauma-informed practices. My therapeutic work centers on creating safe, empowering spaces for healing, growth, and connection—especially for underserved and neurodiverse communities.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy as a journey that you (bravely!) decided to start and you are trusting me to guide you on that journey. Along the way you will learn new things about yourself and new ways to manage day to day life, with a supportive and encouraging person to help you rediscover the new you.

What you can expect from me

You can expect me to do a lot of listening and a lot of questions! This is not to be intrusive too fast, but to help give me both "the forest and the trees" that is your story. This foundational session will guide our future work.
