Great to meet you!

I have been working in the mental health field for 21 years, 11 as a therapist. I studied at Fordham University for my Master degree and Mercy University for my bachelors degree. I enjoy using all modalities of treatment and have a certificate in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I've also done trauma focused studies and work as well. In my free time I love to be outside hiking with my two dogs. I have set a goal of hiking 365 miles for the year and 2025 was the 1st year we were able to accomplish that goal. I believe if your goal is important you keep trying until you reach it!

My approach to therapy

I believe in client center approaches meaning we will set goals together and I will use modalities of treatment that fit your needs best or that you find the most comfortable. I am less lied to the "labels" and more open to what actually works for the person.

What you can expect from me

Our first session together we will discuss what you want to gain from our time together, we will get to know each other and set goal(s) for our time moving forward.
