Great to meet you!

I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 15 years experience in advanced practice. I have many years experience working with children and teens in a hospital setting. I found that outpatient mental health care is so important for people of all ages, and moved to private practice in order to provide care to a wider group of patients. I enjoy working with people of all ages and all stages of recovery and health.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I approach mental (& physical) health from a radical acceptance framework. I listen (hard) to my patients, examine the circumstances in which they are living and involve support people as able. My practice is evidence based, trauma informed, holistic and body neutral (anti-diet/HAES). I have additional training in eating disorder treatment, body images struggles, LGBTQIA+ health and ketamine assisted psychotherapy.

What you can expect from our first session

I strive to keep treatment realistic, patient centered and individualized. I do not always believe in using medication to attain goals, having this choice is important. I appreciate looking at all aspects of a patient's life so that issues can be addressed from many sides.
