Great to meet you!

I am a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2014. My past experience includes being the first psychiatric nurse practitioner at the University of Tennessee Medical center where I treated a diverse population with a wide variety of behavioral health conditions. I have also worked in outpatient settings within patient's homes and through telehealth platforms.

A bit about my approach to therapy

In working with me, you'll find my treatment approach is holistic, focusing on you as a whole rather than just symptoms. This involves considering all aspects of your well-being. I aim to empower my patients by involving them in decision-making and providing them with the tools and resources they need to take control of their mental health. Through guidance and support, I will help you navigate your mental health challenges and work towards achieving overall wellness and balance in your life.

What you can expect from our first session

After our sessions, you will take away a sense of empowerment and self-awareness- a deeper understanding of yourself and your mental health. You may also learn practical tools and techniques to manage your symptoms and improve your overall quality of life. My ultimate goal is to elicit feelings of being supported and validated in your journey towards mental wellness and provide a knowing that I am there to guide and assist you every step of the way without judgement or bias.
