Great to meet you!

Welcome! I'm Dr. Renner and I look forward to getting to know you. I graduated in 2019 from Pace University with my PsyD in School-Clinical Child Psychology. Since then I have been working in elementary schools providing school based services to our students. I specialize in working with children and their families who are facing behavioral challenges as well as in psychological testing. I have treated children, adolescents, teenagers, and adults who are experiencing symptoms of many disorders, including but not limited to, Anxiety, ADHD, OCD, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, and Autism. I am also a Registered Yoga Teacher and have an additional training in Kids Yoga.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy integrates evidence-based practices with trauma-informed care and practice. I utilize CBT, Play Therapy, and Behavioral Therapy in my interventions, as well as a holistic approach of mindfulness and yoga. I utilize these approaches to help clients find emotion regulation, strengthen their communication with others, recognize patterns, and develop coping strategies that work.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm and structured conversation to learn more about your concerns and what has brought you to the therapy session. The space will be free of judgment and will be a safe space to share your concerns and develop goals for therapy. We will collaborate to develop your personal goals and the initial steps towards those goals.
