Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Shannon, a licensed clinical social worker, and I’m honored to support you as you begin your journey toward healing and growth. I believe therapy can be a powerful, transformative space where you feel truly seen, heard, and understood. I bring a deep appreciation for the complexity of the human experience and specialize in helping clients navigate loss, adjust to life transitions, and untangle the challenges of anxiety and depression. My academic training at Columbia University strengthened my commitment to the transformative power of therapy and continues to inform my thoughtful, compassionate approach. Together, we can explore what you’re going through, build meaningful insight, and help you move toward positive change and greater well-being.

My approach to therapy

Supporting individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, or grief. My aim is to guide you on a journey toward authenticity and alignment, especially considering the unique challenges these groups often face. I understand the impact of societal pressures and discrimination on your experiences. Whether you're navigating identity, facing mental health hurdles, or dealing with loss, I'm here to acknowledge and honor your individual journey. Your lived experience.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to begin getting to know one another in a comfortable, supportive environment. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, discuss your goals, and clarify what you hope to gain from the process. We will also establish a shared understanding of what therapy is and how we will work together. This initial meeting helps set the foundation for a trusting and productive relationship. If you are ready to better understand yourself and create meaningful change, I invite you to reach out and begin this journey with me.
