Shannon Tierney

I am a Licensed Clinician with a Counseling Psychology Masters of Science and post graduate certifications, including Trauma Focused CBT, Trauma informed care, Person Centered care, and Psychotherapy. I also tailor my approach with Family therapy, Existential, cultural and spiritual based counseling. I have over 10 years experience working in different mental health practice settings treating a range of diagnoses. I am dually Licensed to practice in NY and FL States.

I specialize in trauma, empowering others to access their innate strengths to cope with the challenges life brings. Using Person Centered care and CBT techniques in Psychotherapy, setting treatment goals collaboratively, I provide psychoeducation to assist clients in gaining deeper insights into the subconscious. I enjoy working with women overcoming trauma, and young adults, growing as young professionals, equipping clients with the tools they need to manage stress, finding balance and peace.

I help my clients find inner peace. They can leave our session feeling calm, with insights deepening their relationship with themselves, a sense of fulfillment and purpose, coping strategies, improved interpersonal relationships, self love, and life long skills to problem solve and manage symptoms of anxiety and depression.
