Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years experience in mental and behavioral health. I have worked with all ages from 0-65+, and am certified in a variety of evidence-based practices that aid individuals and families in reaching their goals. These include, but are not limited to CBT, Multisystemic Therapy, Child Parent Psychotherapy, Positive Parenting Program, and many others. I am also in pursuit of my doctoral degree with a focus on counseling psychology.

My approach to therapy

I consider myself to be an eclectic therapist because therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process. My approach is to first, establish rapport with you as you are entrusting me with your story. It's important to get to know you, your style, your concerns and the goals you aim to achieve. Next, I obtain a full assessment of concerns to help guide us in an open, honest treatment process. Lastly, I engage sessions in a manner that empowers you to reach your ultimate goals and live as your best self.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will be one where we share goals and expectations for this process, but most importantly, where we have dialogue to establish a level of comfort and rapport to build a healthy working relationship.
