Great to meet you!

I am a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) committed to helping children, adolescents, and families navigate life’s challenges and develop the skills needed to thrive. As an African American female clinician, I value the importance of creating a safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, respected, empowered, and supported.

One of my greatest strengths as a clinician is my ability to build authentic therapeutic relationships with young people and their families. I am organized, efficient, optimistic, and passionate about helping clients identify their strengths and recognize their capacity for growth. I believe effective therapy is not simply about addressing problems—it is about empowering individuals and families with the knowledge, skills, confidence, and support they need to move forward. I believe that genuine connection, meaningful experiences, and finding joy in everyday life are important parts of overall well-being.

My goal is to create a therapeutic experience where every client feels valued, understood, and empowered to work toward positive and lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, individualized, and strengths-based. I incorporate positive reinforcement, motivational interviewing, psychoeducation, skill-building, and ongoing feedback to help clients recognize their strengths, develop healthier coping strategies, and make meaningful progress. I understand that every individual and family is unique, so I continuously assess and adapt my approach to meet each client’s specific needs, goals, and circumstances.
