Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), I bring a strong foundation in social services and a deep commitment to supporting underserved communities. My career has been shaped by extensive work with individuals experiencing homelessness, where I’ve developed a compassionate, client-centered approach rooted in dignity, resilience, and empowerment.

Drawing from my background in social service, I integrate Solution-Focused and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to help clients identify strengths, reframe challenges, and build actionable strategies for change. My practice emphasizes short-term, goal-oriented interventions that foster hope and promote sustainable progress—especially for those navigating complex life transitions and systemic barriers.

My approach to therapy

I believe in meeting people where they are, both emotionally and practically, and tailoring interventions to honor their lived experiences. Whether in shelter settings, outreach programs, or clinical environments, my work is guided by the belief that every individual has the capacity for growth and healing.

What you can expect from me

The first session focuses on creating a sense of safety, clarity, and collaboration. Clients can expect a grounded conversation about what brings them in, what feels most pressing, and what they hope to gain from therapy. I take time to understand their lived experiences, strengths, and current challenges at a pace that feels comfortable. This early work helps establish trust and ensures clients feel seen, heard, and respected. Because my approach is shaped by years of supporting individuals navigating homelessness and systemic barriers, I pay close attention to resilience, existing coping skills, and the practical realities shaping their day‐to‐day lives.

From there, we begin identifying meaningful, achievable goals and outlining how we might work toward them together. I introduce elements of Solution Focused and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clarify direction and highlight what’s already working. We discuss what ongoing sessions may look like, how progress will be tracked, and what short‐term strategies might offer immediate support. Throughout the session, clients can expect a compassionate, client‐centered space rooted in dignity and empowerment one that meets them where they are and supports their capacity for growth and healing.
