Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Shantara Bussey-Martin, MSW, LCSW-QS, CMNCS , founder of TEA Time Therapeutic Services.

I believe healing begins when you have a safe space to be seen, heard, and supported without judgment. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, grief, relationship challenges, or major life transitions, my goal is to help you find hope, healing, and lasting change.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Mental Health & Nutrition Clinical Specialist, I take a holistic, evidence-based approach to therapy that recognizes the connection between emotional well-being, lifestyle, and overall health. Every treatment plan is personalized because no two people—or healing journeys—are the same.

My therapy style is warm, collaborative, and compassionate. I strive to create an environment where you feel comfortable being yourself while learning practical skills to manage life's challenges, strengthen relationships, build resilience, and reconnect with the version of yourself you've been missing.

At TEA Time Therapeutic Services, I don't believe therapy is about "fixing" you—because you aren't broken. Therapy is about helping you better understand yourself, develop healthier patterns, and gain the confidence and tools to create the life you deserve.

It would be an honor to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and growth. Together, we'll take one step at a time as you learn to pour back into your life.

My approach to therapy

My Approach

  • Evidence-Based Therapy
  • Personalized Treatment Plans
  • Warm, Judgment-Free Environment
  • Trauma-Informed Care
  • Collaborative Goal Setting

I integrate CBT, ACT, CPT, TF-CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and other evidence-based approaches to meet your unique needs.

In addition to my clinical training as an LCSW, I am a Certified Mental Health & Nutrition Clinical Specialist (CMNCS). This advanced certification enhances my understanding of how nutrition, lifestyle, and overall wellness can influence emotional health. While therapy remains the foundation of my practice, I take a holistic, evidence-informed approach that considers the many factors contributing to mental well-being.

What you can expect from me

With me, you’ll experience care that is clinical, compassionate, comforting, collaborative, committed, and confidential.
