Great to meet you!

I am a compassionate and experienced Licensed Professional Counselor who is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space for individuals and families. You have worked with clients across all ages—from children to adults—in both private practice and hospital settings, providing therapy, crisis intervention, and case management. With a background in education and school counseling, you also understand the unique challenges students and families face, and you specialize in helping clients strengthen communication, build resilience, and develop tools for lasting change. Your clients can trust that you will listen with empathy, maintain confidentiality, and work collaboratively with them to set goals, overcome challenges, and foster growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is client-centered, collaborative, and solution-focused. I believe in creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves and working toward positive change. Drawing from my experience in private practice, hospital settings, and schools, I integrate evidence-based interventions with practical strategies tailored to each client’s needs.

I focus on building trust and rapport, fostering open communication, and strengthening resilience in individuals and families. I also believe in a holistic perspective—supporting not only emotional well-being, but also academic, social, and career readiness when appropriate. My background in crisis intervention, group therapy, and family systems allows me to address challenges ranging from immediate needs to long-term growth.

Above all, my goal is to empower clients with the tools and confidence to navigate life’s challenges, improve relationships, and achieve lasting personal growth.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to walk away from sessions with me feeling supported, understood, and equipped with practical tools they can apply in their daily lives. My focus is on helping clients strengthen communication, build coping strategies, and develop resilience to face challenges with confidence. Clients will gain greater self-awareness, healthier ways to manage stress, and strategies for improving relationships at home, school, or work.

Because of my background in counseling, education, and crisis intervention, clients can also expect individualized guidance that meets their unique needs—whether it’s emotional support, academic or career readiness, or strategies for navigating family and social dynamics. Ultimately, my goal is for clients to leave each session with clarity, hope, and concrete steps toward positive change.
