Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience helping adults navigate trauma, anxiety, grief, depression, relationship concerns, and significant life transitions. I earned my master’s degree in psychology from Pepperdine University and have been licensed in California since 2018.

My work is especially meaningful to me when I can help someone understand what they have been carrying, make sense of patterns that may no longer serve them, and begin creating a life that feels more grounded, connected, and their own.

I bring both compassion and clinical structure to therapy. I don’t believe people need to spend session after session simply retelling what hurts. When appropriate, I help clients understand why certain reactions developed, how experiences may still be affecting them today, and what can support meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in evidence-based care. I tailor therapy to the individual rather than expecting every client to fit one method.

Depending on your needs and goals, I may integrate cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, and other trauma-informed and body-aware approaches to help you understand patterns, process difficult experiences, develop practical coping skills, and respond differently to situations that once felt automatic or overwhelming.

I believe therapy should include both insight and movement. Understanding yourself matters, but so does discovering what helps you live differently outside the therapy room. I will listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, offer perspective when it may be helpful, and work with you to identify changes that feel meaningful and realistic for your life.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for me to understand what brings you to therapy, what has been happening in your life, and what you hope will be different as a result of our work together.

You do not have to tell your entire story in one sitting. We will move at a pace that allows us to begin building trust while also identifying the concerns that feel most important to address.

I’ll ask questions about what you have been experiencing, what has or hasn’t helped before, and what you would like from therapy. Together, we can begin identifying goals and discussing an approach that fits your needs.

My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, respected, and with a clearer sense of how we might move forward together.
