I have a decade of experience supporting I warmly support adults, women, LGBTQIA+ in discovering and affirming their unique qualities to enable them to overcome their life’s obstacles. I use a blend of humor and intuition that helps clients to feel at ease in exploring their internal world. I received my masters from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College and have a multitude of experience working with individuals from immensely diverse backgrounds.

My approach to therapy

My Specialties include: PTSD related to domestic violence, survivors of sexual abuse, childhood abuse, multigenerational trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship/familial issues,& strained parental relationships. I utilized tenets from Compassion Focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive behavioral therapy and Dialectical Behavioral therapy.

What you can expect from me

I create a warm and light hearted environment to enable growth while also challenging clients to reflect on their inner being to discover the answers to their problems. My goal is to cultivate an environment that fosters self awareness so clients can become more aware of their barriers to the life that they have envisioned for themselves.
