Great to meet you!

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. I understand that choosing a therapist is an important decision, and I am honored that you're considering allowing me to be part of your journey toward healing, growth, and emotional wellness.

I am a graduate of Lamar University, where I earned a Master of Education, and I have more than 10 years of experience serving individuals and families as both a Professional School Counselor and a private practice therapist. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of supporting children, adolescents, and adults as they navigate life's challenges while building resilience, confidence, and healthier ways of coping.

My approach to counseling is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client's unique needs. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life.

I specialize in working with individuals experiencing Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADD/ADHD), anxiety, depression, trauma, anger management, and stress management. I also support clients facing life transitions, emotional regulation challenges, self-esteem concerns, relationship difficulties, and personal growth goals. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, struggling with past experiences, or simply seeking greater balance and well-being, I am committed to helping you develop practical skills and lasting strategies for success.

I believe that healing begins with connection, and every person has the capacity to grow and thrive with the right support. My goal is to meet you where you are, help you identify your strengths, and work alongside you as you create a healthier, more fulfilling future.

I look forward to partnering with you on your path toward hope, healing, and lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I believe that effective counseling begins with building a genuine, trusting relationship. My approach is client-centered, compassionate, and personalized to meet your individual needs and goals. I am committed to providing a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free space where you can openly share your experiences, gain insight, and develop the tools needed to navigate life's challenges with confidence.

I have experience working with individuals facing ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, stress, low self-esteem, emotional regulation difficulties, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. Together, we will identify your strengths, explore barriers to growth, and develop practical coping strategies that promote resilience, emotional well-being, and lasting positive change.

I believe that every individual has the ability to heal, grow, and create meaningful change. Whether you are working through a difficult season, processing past experiences, or striving to become the best version of yourself, I will meet you with empathy, respect, and encouragement every step of the way. My goal is to help you build on your strengths, overcome obstacles, and move toward a more balanced, healthy, and fulfilling life.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it's completely normal to have questions or feel a little nervous. My goal is to make your first session as comfortable and welcoming as possible.

During our initial session, we'll spend time getting to know one another. I'll ask questions about what brings you to counseling, your current concerns, personal history, relationships, and any goals you hope to achieve through therapy. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions about my approach, discuss any concerns you may have, and determine whether we're a good fit.

There is no pressure to share everything at once.

We will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you while beginning to identify your strengths, challenges, and the areas where you'd like support. Together, we'll develop a personalized treatment plan that reflects your unique needs and goals.

Most importantly, you can expect a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where you are heard, valued, and supported.

My role is to walk alongside you, offering guidance, evidence-based strategies, and encouragement as you work toward healing, personal growth, and lasting change.
