Great to meet you!

Seeking therapy is a meaningful step, and my goal is to create a space where you feel supported, understood, and empowered throughout your journey. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience providing therapy in hospital, outpatient, and school-based settings. I have worked with children, adolescents, young adults, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, family challenges, stress, and the emotional impact of chronic medical conditions. I believe every person deserves compassionate, individualized care, and I strive to meet clients where they are while helping them build the skills and confidence to move toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

I take a warm, collaborative, and client-centered approach to therapy. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to provide guidance, support, and evidence-based tools that help you navigate life's challenges with greater confidence. I tailor treatment to each client's unique needs by drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Strategies, Family Systems Therapy, and other evidence-based approaches. Together, we'll explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build healthy coping strategies, strengthen resilience, and work toward goals that align with your values. Above all, I strive to create a nonjudgmental environment where you feel safe being your authentic self.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a therapeutic relationship. You'll have space to share what brings you to therapy, what's been weighing on you, and what you hope to gain from the process. My priority is to ensure you feel heard, respected, and comfortable moving at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we'll identify your strengths, discuss your concerns, and begin developing realistic, meaningful goals that will guide our work together. My hope is that you leave your first session feeling seen, supported, and with a clearer understanding of the direction we'll take in therapy.
