Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Sharee Bailey, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over two decades of experience supporting individuals and families through many of life’s most challenging seasons. Since 2004, my work has included foster care, behavioral health, crisis-prevention programs, medical social work, family court involvement, custody-related stress, parental conflict, long-term care coordination, and support for clients navigating Medicaid services.

I bring a calm, steady, and compassionate presence to therapy. My goal is to help you feel safe, heard, and understood while we work together toward meaningful, lasting change. I support clients experiencing stress, anxiety, trauma, family conflict, relationship challenges, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. I also offer Christian counseling when desired, while always honoring each client’s personal values, beliefs, and goals.

Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, but you do not have to take it alone. I strive to provide a welcoming space where you can gain clarity, build resilience, and begin moving toward a healthier, more grounded life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, practical, and client-centered. I believe therapy should feel like a safe partnership — one where you can speak honestly, feel supported, and begin to better understand the patterns, experiences, and emotions that may be affecting your life.

I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients recognize unhelpful thought patterns, build coping skills, and create healthier responses to stress and difficult situations. When desired, I can also integrate Christian counseling to support clients who want faith, prayer, biblical principles, or spiritual reflection included in their healing process.

Because every person’s story is different, I tailor therapy to your needs, pace, and goals. My style is warm, steady, and solution-focused. Together, we will work toward greater self-awareness, emotional strength, healthier relationships, and practical steps you can use outside of session.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a calm, welcoming conversation focused on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. We will talk through your current concerns, your history, your goals, and what you hope to gain from our work together. There is no pressure to share everything at once. The first session moves at your pace, and you will have time to ask questions, express what you are looking for, and get a feel for how we will work together. My priority is for you to feel heard, respected, and supported from the very beginning.

By the end of our first session, my hope is that you leave with a clearer sense of next steps, a better understanding of how therapy can support you, and reassurance that you do not have to navigate this season alone.
