Great to meet you!

I want you to know that when you work with me, you’re partnering with a clinician who supports with compassion, honesty, and a deep commitment to your healing. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker with years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families through some of life’s most complex emotional, relational, and behavioral challenges. My approach is grounded in trauma-informed, culturally responsive care, meaning I see all of you, not just the symptoms or the struggle.

In our work together, you can expect a balance of warmth and clarity. I will challenge you when needed, celebrate your growth, and help you see the strengths you might have forgotten you had. My style is collaborative; we build your goals together and move at a pace that feels safe, steady, and empowering. I believe therapy should feel like a partnership rooted in trust, respect, and real transformation.

I also want you to know that I value your lived experiences. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, relationship patterns, family conflict, identity questions, trauma responses, or life transitions, I will always honor your story. I work in a way that integrates evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT-informed strategies, solution-focused work, and narrative reframing while making sure the process feels human, not clinical or detached.

My role is to provide you with a space where you are not judged, rushed, or minimized. Together, we will explore what’s working, what’s not, and what can be rebuilt. My goal is simple: to help you become emotionally stronger, more self-aware, and more equipped to navigate life with confidence and clarity.

Most importantly, therapy with me is a place where you can exhale, reset, and grow one session at a time.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is grounded in the belief that healing happens through connection, clarity, and intentional work. I use a trauma-informed, culturally responsive lens that honors your lived experiences while helping you build the tools to navigate life with greater ease and confidence.

I blend several evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-based strategies, and Strength-based approaches, to create a plan that fits your needs, pace, and goals. I don’t believe in “one size fits all” treatment. Instead, I collaborate with you to identify what’s working, what needs to be strengthened, and what patterns we can reshape together.

You can expect therapy with me to feel supportive, honest, and purposeful. I’ll help you explore the deeper layers of what you’re carrying, but I’ll also guide you toward practical skills that can be used right away. Sessions may include emotional processing, coping strategies, mindset reframing, self-awareness building, and reflection on how your past experiences shape your present responses.

Most importantly, I aim to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and safe. Progress happens when you feel grounded and empowered—and my job is to walk with you every step of the way as you rebuild, heal, and grow.

What you can expect from me

What Clients Can Expect From Their First Session With Me

Your first session is all about creating a foundation of trust, clarity, and safety. We start by discussing what brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping to work on, and what you need to feel supported in this space. I’ll ask open, thoughtful questions to understand your background, current concerns, and the patterns you’ve been noticing in your life.

We’ll talk through your goals and begin shaping a treatment plan that feels realistic and meaningful. This isn’t about rushing into deep work before you’re ready, it’s about understanding your story, identifying immediate needs, and making sure you feel comfortable with the process.

Clients often describe the first session as grounding and relieving. It’s a space where you can slow down, unpack what’s been weighing on you, and begin to feel emotionally held. You’ll leave with a sense of direction, clarity about the next steps, and the reassurance that you don’t have to navigate this alone.
