Great to meet you!

If you're looking for a therapist who is both direct and compassionate, I strive to create a space where you feel supported, understood, and empowered. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and nonjudgmental, allowing you to show up as your authentic self while we navigate life's challenges together.

I believe every person's story is unique, and I approach therapy with curiosity, openness, and respect. Whether you're working through a difficult season, processing past experiences, managing relationships, or seeking personal growth, my goal is to provide a space where you feel seen, heard, and valued. As a first-generation immigrant, I understand the unique experiences that can come with balancing multiple cultures, identities, expectations, and life transitions.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, stress, self-esteem challenges, people living with HIV, and identity exploration. I also have experience working with LGBTQ+ individuals, and those seeking a sex-positive and culturally affirming therapeutic space.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be tailored to the individual rather than forcing people into a single treatment model. My approach is eclectic and client-centered, drawing from a variety of evidence-based modalities based on your unique needs, goals, and preferences.

While I value the foundations of traditional therapy, I also recognize that healing is not one-size-fits-all. I take time to get to know you as a whole person and work collaboratively to create a therapeutic experience that feels meaningful, practical, and supportive. Together, we will build on your strengths, explore challenges, and develop tools that help you move toward the life you want.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, the concerns or symptoms you've been experiencing, your personal history, and what you hope to gain from our work together.

There is no pressure to have everything figured out before our first meeting. My goal is to create a comfortable, welcoming environment where you can share at your own pace. Together, we'll begin identifying goals and developing a plan that feels supportive and aligned with your needs.
