Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience helping adults and teens navigate trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. As a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional, I use evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches to help clients better understand their symptoms, develop effective coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.

My approach is compassionate, practical, and collaborative, with a focus on helping clients feel more grounded, build resilience, improve relationships, and regain a greater sense of control in their lives. I also have specialized training in mental health nutrition and may incorporate lifestyle-based strategies when they can complement a client’s overall mental health treatment.

My approach to therapy

My counseling style is warm, approachable, and collaborative. I use evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to help clients navigate trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and life stressors. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build effective coping and emotional regulation skills, and work toward meaningful changes that help you feel more confident, resilient, and in control of your life.

What you can expect from me

In our first meeting, you’ll have a safe, supportive space to share your story, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you’d like to change. We’ll work together to clarify your goals and develop a treatment plan tailored to your individual needs. Whether you’re working through trauma, struggling with anxiety or depression, or feeling overwhelmed by life’s challenges, my goal is to help you better understand what you’re experiencing, build effective coping skills, and move forward with greater confidence and resilience.
