Great to meet you!

Life can feel overwhelming at times. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, you don't have to navigate it alone. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, gain insight, and create meaningful change.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I have worked with children, teens, adults, couples, and families in private practice, community mental health, and school-based settings. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of helping individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, family conflict, parenting concerns, and major life transitions.

I believe that healing begins with understanding. Many of the struggles we experience are connected to patterns, beliefs, and experiences that developed long before we became aware of them. Together, we will explore these patterns with curiosity and compassion while developing practical tools to help you move forward with greater confidence, clarity, and emotional well-being.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), mindfulness-based interventions, and family systems theory. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, I work alongside my clients to create treatment goals that align with their values, strengths, and personal goals.

My hope is that you leave each session feeling heard, understood, and empowered to create lasting change. Growth doesn't happen through perfection—it happens through awareness, understanding, and the willingness to take the next step forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client's unique needs. I believe that healing happens in a safe and supportive environment where individuals feel heard, valued, and empowered to create meaningful change. Together, we explore the patterns, beliefs, emotions, and experiences that may be contributing to current challenges while developing practical tools for growth and healing. My goal is to help clients increase self-awareness, strengthen relationships, build resilience, and create lasting change that aligns with their values and goals.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my primary goal is to get to know you and understand what brings you to therapy. We will discuss your current concerns, personal history, relationships, strengths, and the goals you hope to achieve through counseling. I believe that building a strong therapeutic relationship is an important part of the healing process, so I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences.

This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, learn more about my approach, and determine whether we are a good fit to work together. Together, we will begin identifying patterns, challenges, and areas of growth while developing a plan that is tailored to your unique needs and goals.
