Great to meet you!

As a clinician, I foster an open and nonjudgmental style of communication, creating a space where you can speak freely without fear of criticism. I am not only here to listen, but I am committed to truly understanding what you share. To ensure clarity and insight, I may ask questions that help deepen my understanding. I view each person as a unique individual, and your voice is essential to both our therapeutic relationship and your personal growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is rooted in patient-centered principles, guided by an individualized perspective that respects each person’s unique preferences, needs, and values. Building and sustaining a strong therapeutic relationship begins with meeting you where you are. With the utilization of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), we will work collaboratively to identify distorted thoughts, perceptions, or belief systems. By applying CBT techniques such as reframing negative thinking and modifying self-talk, we can influence emotional responses and behavioral expressions, including anger, sadness, and anxiety.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will begin the process of getting to know one another and building the foundation for our therapeutic relationship. This is a valuable opportunity for you to ask questions, share any feelings of uncertainty or nervousness, and begin to acclimate to the therapeutic process. We will also take time to discuss our respective roles and responsibilities in supporting your journey toward meaningful change.
