Great to meet you!
Hi, I'm Sharon Jenkins, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a master in Marriage and Family Therapist. I earned my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy from Barry University.
I'm also a Certified Grief and Trauma Therapist, specializing in anxiety, depression, bereavement, and behavioral challenges in children and adolescents.
In addition, I completed seven years of training with the University of Miami and received my certification in C.I.F.F.T.A therapy. A form of therapy, which focuses on adolescents and families.
For over a decade, I have also worked with nonprofit organizations in the community, with the purpose of supporting mental health awareness and sharing my passion for helping others.
Over the years, I've learned that some of life's most meaningful moments can be found in the simplest things—a beautiful sunrise, fresh air, laughter, a good cup of coffee/tea or simply allowing myself time to just be.
During my freetime, I enjoy what I like to call a“Daycations”—taking a little time away to relax and release. Which includes, listening to music, dancing, being in nature, and appreciating simple moments to read, pray and watch movies.
