Sharon Moore

Welcome! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist with over 20 years of experience. I treat adult individuals struggling with anxiety, depressive disorders, and healing from trauma. I had a previous career in film, hence an additional focus on working with creatives and with those dealing with life and career transitions.

I work collaboratively with clients to improve their functioning, relationships, and to foster personal growth. My primary orientation is psychodynamic, exploring the roots of emotional issues by illuminating unhelpful patterns in one's life and relationships. I utilize Evidence-Based Practices (e.g., Trauma-Focused CBT) and healing modalities.

Our initial session is an intake wherein I elicit your history/story, and we begin to build rapport. We'll then collaborate on your goals for our work together. In subsequent sessions I'll follow your lead, creating s safe and secure space for you to share, to explore what's going on internally, and ultimately to heal so as to realize your goals.
