Sharon Oates, is a licensed clinical social worker, from CO, who works with adolescents and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, stress and trauma. She has a Master's Degree in Social Work from Newman University. Sharon is an avid lover of sports and enjoys traveling, socializing with friends, working out, and spending time with her family.
Sharon has extensive experience with cognitive behavioral therapy and EMDR, and her treatment approach is rooted in evidence based practices such as mindfulness, positive psychology, and emotional freedom techniques. She takes a whole body- person centered approach and utilizes a patient’s strengths and values.
Sharon’s main goals for her patient’s include not only reducing negative feelings like anxiety and depression, but also improving quality of life so that a person may find their true success and happiness. She believes that in her practice, her patients can overcome any life circumstance and truly thrive. Sharon has excelled in her practice because she truly cares about her patients and is committed to helping them achieve their goals.
