I have 30 years of experience in Clinical Social Work with masters degree specializing in substance abuse treatment. My practice has been diverse by nature and presently my practice focuses on clients struggling with anxiety, depression and life transitions.
I believe that the connection between the client and clinician is the grounding force of any therapeutic relationship. From there we build trust and explore personal barriers to one’s mental health and happiness. I have an eclectic approach to treatment utilizing Internal family systems theory, mind body connection and psychodynamic therapy in understanding one’s experience and story.
The goal in therapy is to gain improved coping skills, accept and nurture the inner spirit and heal internal wounds.
