I am a licensed clinical social worker with 20 years' experience. I have worked in many settings to include outpatient office therapy, inpatient psychiatric care, and community-based care. I have experience with a many issues and mental health diagnosis. I am mainly focusing on mood disorders, grief, anxiety, and seniors' issues, and trauma. I am also able to work with schizoaffective and schizophrenia.
I approach therapy as a collaborative process. As we investigate the issues together, we will develop a treatment plan that makes sense. Once we discover the root of the issues, we can make a road map to the client's goals.
I really value giving people a safe space to be their honest and authentic self without judgement. Everyone has different needs for therapy. Validation, clarification, self-discovery, symptom reduction, and coping skills depending on the person.
