Great to meet you!

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I work with a variety of concerns, including depression, anxiety, and relationship conflict. I specialize in working with highly sensitive people; those who find themselves struggling with managing their emotions. Many of my clients face issues with their relationships; perhaps those relationships have become toxic, aren’t meeting their needs, or have become stagnant.

My approach to therapy

I begin the relationship with each new client by establishing trust, getting to know each individual and learning about their unique backgrounds. This allows me to tailor the therapy to meet the needs of the client. I help my clients learn about themselves and develop healthy coping skills. Many of these skills come form evince-based therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to teach clients how to identify what’s happening for themselves emotionally, so that they can better manage their feelings. I help them learn how to communicate more effectively with others and to advocate for their needs. I want my clients to leave sessions feeling heard and understood, with strategies they can take with them into their lives.
