Great to meet you!

I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice and board‐certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP‐BC), and I specialize in providing holistic, evidence‐based care to individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns. I have extensive experience working with adults in both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health settings, and I am committed to helping my patients feel understood, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.

I assess, diagnose, and manage individuals with various psychiatric conditions in an outpatient setting. I conduct comprehensive intake evaluations and follow‐up psychiatric assessments, prescribe and manage psychotropic medications using evidence‐based research, and create individualized treatment plans that combine both pharmacological and nonpharmacological interventions. I also provide psychotherapy utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), trauma‐informed approaches, and other therapeutic modalities to help clients work through complex mental health issues.

My practice is rooted in a holistic perspective. I look at the full picture of your emotional, physical, and social well‐being when we develop your treatment plan together. I value collaboration and strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, build insight, and learn practical coping strategies to manage symptoms and improve your quality of life. I am comfortable working with a breadth of concerns, including mood and anxiety disorders, trauma‐related symptoms, co‐occurring substance use, and the emotional impact of medical and life stressors.

In addition to my outpatient work,

My approach to therapy

My professional background includes many years as a registered nurse in inpatient psychiatric settings and in high‐acuity medical environments, including dual diagnosis and eating disorder units as well as neonatal intensive care. This combination of psychiatric and medical experience allows me to understand the complex interaction between physical health and mental health and to collaborate effectively with other members of your care team.

I hold a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner focus from Regis College, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and earlier graduate degrees in Counseling and Psychological Studies. I am board‐certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and licensed as an Advanced Practice Nurse and Registered Nurse in New Jersey. I am also an active member of several professional organizations, including DNPs of Color, the American Nurses Association, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association.

What you can expect from me

Above all, my goal is to partner with you. Together, we will clarify your concerns, set realistic goals, and develop a tailored plan that may include therapy, medication, lifestyle changes, and other supports. I know that reaching out for help can be difficult, and I am honored to walk alongside you as you work toward healing, resilience, and a more fulfilling life.
