Great to meet you!

I am a doctorate‐prepared, dual‐certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (DNP, FNP‐C, PMHNP‐BC), and my heart for this work is deeply personal. I trained at Texas Tech University, Texas Woman’s University, and Wilkes University, and I’ve spent the past 17 years caring for patients in ways that honor both their physical and emotional well-being.

I chose to become both a family and psychiatric provider because I wanted to truly understand people, not just their symptoms, but their stories. Over the years, I’ve learned that mental and physical health are inseparable. When we treat them together, people heal more fully, grow more confidently, and feel more like themselves again.

My clinical focus includes anxiety, depression, obsessive‐compulsive disorder, and life transitions, and I’m comfortable caring for individuals across the lifespan.

My approach is shaped by both my training and my lived experience. As a woman of faith, I believe in meeting people with compassion, dignity, and hope. I’ve walked alongside family members facing mental health challenges, and I’ve seen how therapy, and sometimes medication, can help them reclaim joy, stability, and purpose. Those moments taught me that healing is possible and that no one should have to walk their journey alone.

When patients sit with me, I want them to feel safe, understood, and supported. I listen closely, honor their values, and work with them to create a plan that feels realistic and empowering.

My goal is simple: to help each person move toward their best health

My approach to therapy

My approach to mental health care is centered on listening, understanding, and working together. I want to understand not just your symptoms, but your story. I want to take into account what you’ve been carrying, what you’ve tried, and what you hope for.

I will develop a treatment plan based on medical guidelines, information from our discussion, and your experience and thoughts.

What you can expect from me

When we meet, my first priority is creating a space where you feel safe, respected, and truly heard. I take a warm, patient‐centered approach that focuses on understanding your experiences rather than judging them. I listen closely to your words, your emotions, and the meaning behind what you share so we can build a strong, trusting relationship from the very beginning.

The goal is to get to know you, along with your concerns and goals, so we can build a solid plan of care
