Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 30 years of experience working with clients of diverse backgrounds and experiences. I understand that therapy is not a one size fits all, a person’s story, experiences, struggles are unique to them. I believe it’s important to meet clients where they are and identify where they want to be. I am inspired by my clients and witnessing their journeys of self-discovery and healing.

My approach to therapy

When working with clients I engage in active listening, use humor, and challenge unhelpful and negative thought patterns. I utilize empathy as well as validate and normalize a client’s experiences and feelings. My approach leans more towards psychodynamic and cognitive behavior modalities, but adapt to the needs of my clients.

What you can expect from me

My interpersonal approach to therapy is transparent, culturally sensitive, non-judgmental, warm, and validating. I provide a safe and supportive environment for clients’ journey of self-discovery. I strive to empower clients to recognize their strengths and become the best version of themselves.
