Shatika is a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who specializes in medication management. She is of the belief that overcoming mental health stigma is successful when clinicians and clients come together with the same intentions. Shatika earned her Masters Degree from New York University's Rory Meyers College of Nursing Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Program.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Shatika uses a non-judgmental approach by engaging the client in their treatment planning and goals. Providing a safe and nurturing environment where they are able to feel comfortable guides successful treatment. Shatika accepts clients from all races, cultures, and ethnicities. She specializes in treating BIPOC (black, indigenous, and people of color) and the LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer) communities.
