Great to meet you!

At the center of any therapy, I believe it is a collaboration between therapist and client so you will be comfortable and aware throughout your journey, without ever feeling like strings are being pulled in the background. I provide psychoeducation to clients and together we strategize realistic goals to meet each individual’s needs. I have worked with individuals and groups utilizing various treatment approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, among others. I feel a synthesis of approaches helps a broader range of concerns.

I offer help to teens and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, addictions, eating disorders, OCD, PTSD, grief, LGBT issues, first responder concerns, as well as adjustments to change or life stages.

I am enthusiastic to continue working with people navigating life. I look forward to starting your mental health wellness journey or continuing it with you.

My approach to therapy

I feel my job as a therapist is to give you mental health tools that you can use to help you on your life journey. I use many approaches and believe therapy should be person-centered.

What you can expect from me

I will ask questions to get to know your reasons for seeking therapy, your background and to gain focus on goals we can collaborate on. You can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. Honestly, the first session is usually pretty relaxed compared to what some people think it may be like.
