Great to meet you!

Being a therapist is my purpose and my passion. I decided to become a therapist after healing my own childhood trauma and realizing that what I went through, could be used as a gift to help others heal and grow. I want clients to know that they are not alone on their journey of healing, that they will feel supported, empowered, and safe while working with me. I have extensive knowledge and education on working with clients struggling with addiction, eating disorders, mental health concerns, bereavement, grief/loss, trauma, suicidal trauma, PTSD, and inner child healing.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is to provide a safe, supportive, and warm environment for clients to express their feelings, emotions, and difficulties in life. Utilizing a client centered approach with cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, commitment and acceptance therapy, providing psycho-education, and empathy is also a part of my therapeutic process. It is my goal for clients to feel validated, affirmed, and supported during each session.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients will be introduced to the therapeutic process, and any questions or concerns will be addressed so you feel informed and comfortable moving forward. We’ll also begin gathering information about your experiences, challenges, and goals to help build a strong foundation for our work together.

This time is focused on creating a trusting and supportive relationship where you feel safe to share at your own pace. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, validated, and supported as you begin your journey toward healing and growth.
