Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 6 years of experience providing therapy and mental health services across Assertive Community Treatment, intensive in-home services, peer support, and mental health skill building. I have worked with adolescents and adults managing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and challenges related to parenting and family dynamics. This range of experience allows me to support individuals with varying levels of need, including those experiencing ongoing stress and difficulty maintaining stability in daily life.

I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work and a Master’s degree in Human Services Counseling with a concentration in Addictions and Recovery. My background has prepared me to support individuals navigating emotional distress, life transitions, and persistent mental health concerns that impact functioning at home, in relationships, and in the community.

I specialize in helping individuals improve emotional regulation, manage mood-related symptoms, and build healthier patterns in relationships and daily routines. I also work with caregivers who are balancing personal mental health needs while managing responsibilities within the home.

My approach is structured, supportive, and focused on practical change. I utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and solution-focused interventions. I focus on present concerns while helping individuals develop skills that can be applied consistently outside of sessions.

My goal is to provide a consistent and respectful space where individuals can feel supported while working toward stability, clarity, and improved overall functioning.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is structured, supportive, and focused on helping individuals create meaningful change in their daily lives. I focus on what is currently happening, helping individuals understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected, and how these patterns may be contributing to distress.

I work collaboratively to identify specific goals and develop practical strategies that can be applied outside of sessions. A strong emphasis is placed on improving emotional regulation, strengthening coping skills, and increasing consistency in daily routines. I also support individuals in building healthier communication patterns and navigating challenges within relationships and family dynamics.

I utilize evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and solution-focused interventions. Interventions are tailored to each individual, with attention to personal strengths, current stressors, and overall functioning.

I have experience supporting individuals managing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and parenting-related stressors. My style is direct, consistent, and goal-oriented, while also providing a supportive space where individuals can process challenges at a manageable pace.

The overall focus of therapy is to help individuals gain clarity, improve stability, and build skills that support long-term emotional and behavioral health

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session to be structured, supportive, and focused on understanding what is bringing them to therapy. Time is spent gathering information about current concerns, emotional and behavioral patterns, and any past experiences that may be impacting present functioning.

I work to create an environment that is respectful, nonjudgmental, and focused on helping clients feel comfortable sharing at their own pace. The first session is also an opportunity to begin identifying goals for treatment, including what the client would like to see improve in daily life, relationships, or overall emotional stability.

Clients can expect collaboration in developing a clear direction for therapy, along with initial strategies that can begin to support symptom management and daily functioning. I also provide education on how the therapy process will work, including expectations for consistency, engagement, and skill development outside of sessions.

The goal of the first session is to build a strong foundation for ongoing work, establish trust, and begin creating a plan that supports meaningful and realistic progress.
