Great to meet you!

I obtained my Master's in Social Work (MSW) degree from East Carolina University and completed the additional requirements to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker(LCSW). I have a background in education and providing outpatient therapy to individuals of all ages experiencing distressing events and situations.

My approach to therapy

I believe that real change starts through connection. My work with you will focus on making sense of whatever you are facing and develop individualized ways to minimize distress so that moving forward at with clarity and confidence.

My approach is grounded in a strengths-based, trauma informed framework and I am committed to making each session meaningful and useful.

I bring a mix of empathy, thoughtfulness, and solution oriented focus to my practice. I understand how personal challenges often intersect with bigger systems, so I tailor therapy to fit your world, not the other way around.

What you can expect from me

In our first session we will talk about what you can expect from therapy. I'll ask some questions about your problem, background, and experiences. At the end of the first session, we will take time to reflect on the most supportive treatment options based on your needs and preferences.
